Tulloch’s ton takes UBACC to victory in Georgia Supreme Cricket League

Tulloch’s masterful 161 led UBA to 272 for six of their allotted 40 overs.

UBACCC’s stylish right-hand batsman, and last year’s top run getter, Robert Tulloch, continued his fine form by racking up his second ‘huge century’ in just four games, leading UBA to their fourth win of the season – a 209 runs whipping of Caribbean (CSC, 2-2). Batting at #3, after Mumby was run out for a duck with the score at zero, Tulloch batted through to compile a masterful 161 runs; a boundary laced inning with six 6’s and seventeen 4’s. This led UBA to 272 for six of their allotted 40 overs.

CSC self destructed in reply, moving from 20 for 2 to 30 for 8, as Atkins, 5 for 25 and Bisnott, 4 for 24, together claimed nine wickets in their spell of eight overs each.

Tulloch, with previous scores of 152 not out against Wanderers, 37 against Conrad Hunte, and 72 not out against ICC, has so far accumulated 422 runs in his four innings – that’s an astronomical 422 average. His total runs are also just six short of his league winning total in 2010. Tulloch: 161 n.o vs CSC
